1) Inspection of the vehicle at the dealership to ensure there are no signs of damage or prior accidents.
2) Some countries e.g. Kenya, require that the vehicle is pre-inspected before shipping. The pre inspection is done by a specialist UK company appointed by the Kenyan Government. As part of our service, we can contact this company on your behalf and arrange the pre inspection.
3) Preparation of shipping & customs documentation to ensure the car leaves the UK safely and also arrives at destinations without any problems.
4) We can also arrange for safe Shipping of your vehicle under the deck (RORO) or in containers.
- RORO method of shipping is where the vehicle is driven under the deck of the vessel and strapped securely to avoid any movement. It offers an affordable method of shipping because there are no heavy costs involved when loading and unloading the vehicle.
We recommend this service for older model of cars as it is much more economical.
- Container method of shipping involves the vehicle being shipped inside steel 20 ft and 40 ft containers. These containers are loaded onto the deck of the ship and transported securely.
Container shipping is by far the safest and most reliable method of shipping as your vehicle is guaranteed to arrive in the same condition as it was before it left.
Because of the security and reliability that containers offer, it is there understandable that they are slightly more expensive than RORO shipping methods. Please contact us for different rates to different destinations.
5) We can also arrange for our driver to collect the vehicle from the dealer and deliver to the port for export. We mainly ship from Sheerness, Tilbury and Southampton.
