Car shipping to Libya
We specialise in the export of cars from the UK to Libya. Cars can be shipped using two methods i.e container method or RORO method.
Container method involves the use of standard steel containers. These containers come in different shapes and sizes but the most common container are 20 foot,40 foot, 40 foot high cube, 40 foot open top.
For container shipping, the client is required to deliver their vehicle to the port e.g Southampton. Once we have received the vehicle,we will load it and secure it inside the container before loading it on board the ship. This process usually takes about an hour so you can either wait and watch while we do it or you can just drop your car off and leave.
The main benefit of container shipping is that cars can be transported securely agains elements such as theft,accidental damage & weather effects.
I f you dont wish to hire a full container and ship it to Libya, you can transport your car there by RORO. This means that the car will not be loaded on the container but loaded inside the ship instead.
RORO shipping is less secure if you have valuable goods stored in the vehicle.However, it is the most efficient as transit time is quicker compared to container shipping.
