Car shipping services to Botswana
We can assist with the export of vehicles from the UK to Gaborone in Botswana. Since Botswana is landlocked,all Vehicles have to go via Durban South Africa.
We ship vehicles to Durban either on RORO or container,then transport them by road (on low loader) to Gaborone,Botswana.
RORO method of shipping involves the vehicles being driven onto special car carriers that have room under the decks for cars.
Container shipping involves the export of vehicles in special 20 ft and 4Oft containers. Vehicles will be loaded at our warehouse in Southampton before being strapped securely to avoid movement during shipment.
Cars can be imported duty free by returning residents provided it has been owned and used for twelve months by the owner. The person claiming duty free status has to be in the county within 6 months of the car arriving.
